Tires can be divided into bias tires (ordinary tires) and radial tires (steel wire tires) in terms of structure. Bias tires can simply be called nylon tires. 

This concept is relative to radial tires, the so-called steel tires. The cords of bias tires are arranged in diagonal lines, hence the name.
